Custom laser etching starts at $400. Monuments are drawn, cut, etched, delivered, and set statewide throughout Michigan, including Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac, Huron, northern Oakland, and northern Macomb.
01 · Drawn
From your photographs.
Families bring photographs, stories, symbols, hobbies, and landscapes. We draw the memorial from those, send proofs, and revise it until it is right. Nothing is cut until you say yes.
02 · Etched
Burned into the granite.
Laser etching is not paint, film, or a plaque. The laser removes the mirror polish point by point and each point turns pale, building the greys of a photograph in the stone itself — so there is nothing on the surface to peel or wash off. Done in-house on Jet Black granite, because a black polish holds the range a portrait needs. How etching works.

By the same team.
We confirm the cemetery’s requirements ourselves, help coordinate the foundation, and deliver and set the finished stone. The people who drew your memorial are the people who set it.

A memorial should not feel like a product pulled from a catalog. It should feel unmistakably connected to the person it carries forward.
That belief shapes every part of our work. After an order comes in, families bring us photographs, stories, symbols, hobbies, landscapes, and rough ideas. We review the design together and personally check the cemetery’s rules. Because we work with cemeteries throughout Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac, Huron, and northern Oakland and Macomb, large and small, we already know many requirements and know who to contact when something needs confirmation. We can also help coordinate the foundation. Production begins after the family approves the final direction.

Mastermind Creation Co. grew from the idea that memorial work should be more personal, transparent, and locally accountable.
Craft and care under one name.
We create new monuments, produce custom artwork and laser etching, deliver and set statewide across Michigan, and biologically clean existing headstones across our six local counties.

Where we are heading

Our family has strong ties to Tennessee, and as Mastermind Creation Co. grows, we are excited to expand our memorial services into the communities our family calls home.
Our family already lives in Middle Tennessee, which makes this a natural next chapter for a family-owned business rather than a line on a map. We are currently based in Michigan while we build that long-term presence, and we eventually plan to establish our primary home base in Tennessee. Until that day comes we will say exactly that: Michigan is where the shop is, Tennessee is where the family is. Headstone cleaning is the same $80 per stone there, alongside memorial preservation, family plot and cemetery cleaning, cemetery preservation, and custom monuments around Greenbrier, Springfield, White House, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Clarksville.
