Custom monuments and memorial care from Davison, Michigan
Mastermind Creation Co. is a Michigan monument maker based in Davison. We design, cut, laser etch, deliver, and set custom monuments, headstones, grave markers, and memorial benches at cemeteries statewide throughout Michigan, including Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac, Huron, northern Oakland, and northern Macomb. We also clean existing headstones for $80 per stone, reset and level monuments that have leaned or sunk, and run the One-for-One Veteran Memorial Program. Once an order is placed, we review the design and cemetery requirements, get the family’s approval, and then begin production. See how custom monuments are made.
Biological headstone cleaning
Professional cleaning is $80 per stone — the complete job rather than a booking fee or deposit — and uses biological cleaners only, with no bleach or acids. That one payment covers the trip to your cemetery, the full cleaning, trimming and edging around the base, and before-and-after photos emailed the same day. The number of headstones is chosen at checkout, and nothing further is owed once the work is done.
A veteran’s stone cleaned with every booking
For every stone we are paid to clean, we clean one veteran’s headstone in that same cemetery free of charge, on the same visit. It is one for one, nobody is billed for it, and it is not funded by a surcharge — cleaning is still $80 per stone. It works because the trip is the expensive part of this job and your booking has already paid for it. Veterans’ stones receive the identical method: cemetery-approved biological cleaners, water, and soft brushes, never bleach, acids, or pressure washing, which is the same restriction the VA places on the government-furnished markers it still owns.
Custom Michigan monuments
Choose flat markers, bevels, slants, uprights, benches, and family monuments, or a fully custom shape made to order. We work with cemeteries large and small, personally confirm their requirements, help coordinate foundation work, and deliver and set the finished monument. Read more about our monument making.
Memorials we have completed
Our gallery shows finished work installed in Michigan cemeteries: companion uprights with Celtic crosses and laser etched family portraits, a full granite memorial bench, hand-tinted color scenes, cardinal and wildflower etchings, race car and race boat tributes, and flat markers with scenic and portrait detail. Every piece was approved by the family before production, then finished and set by Mastermind Creation Co. Browse the complete memorial gallery.
Can you make a custom shape?
Yes. Custom headstones and shapes are special orders cut in-house. The four we cut most often are hearts, crosses, open books and bibles, and angels and wings. Any shape outside those four is still possible, but you need to ask us so we can quote it. After the order comes in, we review the drawing and cemetery requirements with the family, get approval, and then begin production. Special orders need cemetery approval on shape and size and take longer than a standard monument.
Where is cleaning available?
Headstone cleaning is $80 per stone through Genesee, Lapeer, and Sanilac counties, which run on weekly routes, plus Huron County on our Thumb route and selected northern Oakland and northern Macomb routes taken when they are practical. Those six counties are our primary routine cleaning area. Outside our regular cleaning area? Contact us — cleaning requests elsewhere in Michigan may be available based on routing and availability. Tell us the cemetery and the city, choose the number of headstones at checkout, and we call with the arrival window before we travel.
Where are monuments set?
Monument sales and memorial projects are available statewide throughout Michigan. Custom monuments are delivered and set at cemeteries across the state, including Genesee, Lapeer, Sanilac, Huron, northern Oakland, and northern Macomb counties. The team can discuss pricing and cemetery rules before the order. Once the order is placed, we review the design with the family, get approval, and then begin production.
